Acworth Beach/Cauble Park Get-Together- Students
Join us at Acworth Beach for a night of fun and play! Students should eat dinner at home and then report to the park for the evening band session. Students are encouraged to bring frisbees, balls, outdoor games, etc. Water and frozen treats will be provided by the band.
When: July 18th
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Acworth Beach / Cauble Park – Pavilion #5

Potluck Dinner & Parent Meeting- Students and Parents (families welcome)
Parents, please join us for a Marching Band Potluck Dinner and Mandatory Parent Meeting on Tuesday, July 19th at 6:00 in the Harrison Cafeteria. At least one parent should attend the meeting; however, all family members are welcome! There will be small group meetings per band section. Parents will have the chance to meet their section liaison and the other parents in their child’s section. Please see food assignments below and bring a generous portion of your assigned dish. Please pre-cut food items and, if possible, include a disposable serving utensil for your dish.
When: July 19th

Stars & Strikes Event- Students
This is a fun get-together for the kids and is not paid for by the band. Students can use the $10 card for a game of bowling, shoe rental, a game of lazer tag and a $5 game card.
When: Tuesday, July 26th
Time: Noon to 2:00 pm.
Where: Stars & Strikes, 2400 Hiram Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA 30157
Cards: Students should purchase a $10 Stars and Strikes card ahead of time to use at the event. Cards will be available for purchase during lunch at Band Camp 7/18, 7/19, 7/21, and 7/22. They can also be purchased 7/19 at the Potluck. A limited number will be available at the door on the day of the event. Additional $10 cards can be purchased from the band for $9 beforehand or at the door (cash only) and used for games, additional laser tag, etc.
