It’s Competition Weekend for Winter Guard and HIPE!

Join us in cheering on our outstanding Harrison Winter Guard and HIPE teams as they compete this weekend!

Winter Guard will compete with ten other teams in the Scholastic A class on Saturday, March 21st, at SAPA Kell HS. Information about the upcoming event and ticket sales is available here.

HIPE is headed to WGI Atlanta to compete with nine other groups in the Scholastic A class at North Forsyth High School on Saturday, March 21st (finals will be held Sunday, March 22nd). Click here for information about this upcoming event.

Harrison Winter Guard Captures 2nd Place at SAPA Armuchee!

Harrison Winter Guard performed their show “A Sense of Rain” at SAPA Armuchee High School on Saturday, March 7th. Competing amongst eight other groups in their division, Winter Guard scored 74.520, placing them in second for the competition. Harrison’s Winter Guard Takes 1st Place at SAPA!

Winter Guard captures first place in Scholastic A with their amazing performance of “A Sense of Rain” at SAPA Whitewater High School! Their stunning performance earned the group a score of 72.700, placing them first amongst fifteen competitors in Scholastic A! Way to go Hoyas!

Band Parent Meeting

This Tuesday, February 24th, we will be holding a general band parent meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the band room.

We would love to see everyone there, or at least a representative from each family.

At this meeting we will have Dr. David Vandewalker as a guest speaker. If you have never met Dr. Vandewalker, he is a former Director of Bands at Harrison High School and has since published books on band booster organizations.

We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to bring in Dr. Vandewalker to speak with us this Tuesday and cannot wait to hear what he has to say!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting!

Harrison Winter Guard participated today in their first SAPA competition of the season with their show “A Sense of Rain.” Earning a score of 60.980, the Hoyas took first place in the SA – Scholastic A division! Way to go, Hoyas!
