Show Recollections by our Band Alumni: The Golden Age

Our Favorite Moment:

Getting to dance with the band members in movement 3! — Ansley Fowler

Most Difficult to Master and Perform:

There was this snake formation we (the guard) had to run and Lauren Folsom and I were the last two people in the line so we had to run up and down across the field in this massive petticoat while trying to jazz run and not fall on our faces! — Ansley Fowler

The last time we performed this show, I felt:

Really sad but also proud! I think I was crying more than some of the seniors (I was a freshman haha) just because it was such a great season and I didn’t want it to end! — Ansley Fowler

My Most Memorable Performance:

I think performing at Jacksonville was the most memorable. Partly because it was our first competition where we had to travel. I have this distinct memory of us sleeping in the mail room because we were so tired. Also Scott made us spray paint our hair white and it made my hair turn into a pine straw texture and none of us could get the white out for a while. — Ansley Fowler

Most Difficult to Master and Perform:

Honestly, the UMBRELLAS! For some reason, we were not equipped to handle that. — Sarah

The last time we performed this show, I felt:

Gutted. It had been a very emotional season for me personally, and it was hard to say goodbye to Scarlett. — Sarah

My Most Memorable Performance:
