HIPE returned to the GIPA circuit this weekend as they performed their show “The Veil” at Alpharetta HS. The group has worked relentlessly to fine-tune and revise their show, making notable changes in the opening and elevating the energy to new levels. With a score of 81.950 in the preliminaries, HIPE secured a place in the finals.
After the preliminary round of competition, HIPE headed out to the practice space, grabbed lunch, rehearsed and then made their way back to finals competition, where they increased their score to 82.750 and placed fourth overall in the Percussion Scholastic A (PSA) class.
