Why Fundraise?
Guest Conductors, New Instruments, Leading Edge Music Compositions, Sectional Technicians are just a few reasons why it’s important to participate in the fundraising activities that support the Harrison High Band Boosters. While fees cover approximately 50% of the actual costs each year, it is through the fundraising efforts of every family, Concert and Marching, that allows the budget to balance.
Each fundraiser has been designed for maximum potential and wherever possible a portion of your fundraising efforts benefit your student bucks account. Most of the fundraisers at HHBB have been designed so the student may learn a new skill and gain confidence in their ability to accept partial responsibility for ensuring their selected activity is financially possible. A student’s participation in a fundraiser gives them a sense of achievement and ownership in the Band Program as a whole.
