Revenue/Fundraising

Why Fund-raise?

Guest Conductors, New Instruments, Leading Edge Music Compositions, Sectional Technicians are just a few reasons why it’s important to participate in the fundraising activities that support the Harrison High Band Boosters.  While fees cover approximately 50 % of the actual costs each year, it is through the fund-raising efforts of every family, Concert and Marching, that allows the budget to balance.

Each fundraiser has been designed for maximum potential and wherever possible a portion of your fundraising efforts benefit your student bucks account. Most of the fundraisers at HHBB have been designed so the student may learn a new skill and gain confidence in their ability to accept partial responsibility for ensuring their selected activity is financially possible.  A student’s participation in a fundraiser gives them a sense of achievement and ownership in the Band Program as a whole.
